Cannot open attachments sent to Service Desk via email

We are having an issue where we cannot open the attachments that are sent to us via email, when we look at the ticket in KACE Service Desk.

The attachment appears as a link, but when you click on it - it doesn't do anything.

This is happening with multiple attachment types, PDF's, MS office docs, and ppt attachments.

Any help is appreciated.

Could you tell us what version of the server you are running? I'm running 5.4.76848 and don't have any issues with opening attachments.

  • Depending on K1000 version, there might be a patch that KACE support can give you to resolve this problem. I'd suggest submitting a trouble ticket. - jknox 11 years ago

  • We are on K1000 Systems Management Appliance v5.4.70402
    I have created a ticke with DELL KACE and they have replied with a patch. I am just awaiting our server admin to apply the patch. thanks for your help. - jschu67 11 years ago
