Change default boot option RSA on PXE

So is there any way to change the order of the boot on a RSA when you PXE boot from that RSA? I want it to default to boot from KBE_64 rather local disk. I realize you can 'deploy image' to a hardware address but assume i don't have the mac and I just want everything I boot to boot into a partcular installer is there a way to do that?

I don't think there is a way to do this.

What if you run a scan on the remote subnet and import the mac addresses?

I would use NMAP on a computer in the remote location to find the macs.

vtphilk,

This would cause all computers to start to KBE everytime, is that what you really want? If so, you could upgrade your k1000 to 5.2 and your k2000 to 3.3. This would allow you to see all your labels on the k1 while in the k2. You can then set boot actions on those labels to boot to your preferred environment, and set to forever. You can set just booting to the environment without deploying an image.

hehe I really doubt you like it that way, that would just cause the installations to run in circels each time it reboot

rmeyer,

Your correct this would loop forever, IF pxe was your first boot device.

Otherwise this should work just fine.
