CMDHide not recognized after Image Deployment.

Hey Everyone,

I recently updated to K2000 3.6 and I have been having a strange issue after an image is deployed and the machine restarts to complete its post installation tasks.

I get this error

"C:\KACE\bin\cmdhide.exe" is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Any clue how I can remedy this?

Thanks

  • is this happening between the mid and post task point or after the post tasks? - SMal.tmcc 10 years ago
    • This happens after the image deploys down and restarts to run the post install tasks. The machine logs in and that error pops up and sits there until I close it. No post install tasks run after that. - DanGreenbrier 10 years ago
      • when you look at the drive, does the c:\kace directory exist? - SMal.tmcc 10 years ago
  • It does. However the bin folder in it does not. It only has "Engine" and "Windows" sub folders. - DanGreenbrier 10 years ago
