Controlling the email address reports come from

Good evenin, currently reports are being sent from "reporter@<machine name.activedirectorydomainname.net> , our message filter is blocking emails being sent outside of the organisation as it will only allow emails coming from our mail domain (which is completely different from our AD domain name).

Is there a way to set the email address that reports are seen to becoming from so that it comes from @yum.com ?

No, but you could use an Exchange transport rule to rewrite the header. Or perhaps the filter could exempt this address?

Thanks Gillyspy, we got the messaging team to change the filter to allow through, I've also put a feature request to be able to change this. At the moment we're relying on the recipients mail system accepting TLS connections which is fine for the support vendor but will cause trouble if we want to auto-email our customers.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
