Missing LDAP groups from active directory

Hello guys,

I have the Kace SMA connected to our active directory. And

I have noticed that some groups are missing from the LDAP labels.

Some groups that are actually in the same OU are missing from the labels while

others in the same OU are listed.

Any idea why this has happened and how to fix this? We really need to run some reports

from these groups and their users but the info would be incomplete if some groups

are missing.

As always, thank you for the support.

  • Unfortunately, I am not sure what assistance can be provided without knowing the LDAP query you used or the layout of your AD.
The version of the SMA is also helpful information. You may want to open a support ticket for assistance. - KevinG 5 months ago

Something in the back of memory says that with LDAP labels the users need to login for them to populate, but happy to be corrected ;o)

A User LDAP label is evaluated during the user login, if the LDAP query criteria match the user is added to the label, if not the user is removed.

You may want to use the SMA LDAP browser to check the results defined LDAP queries.
