Custom Inventory Rule for K1000 and Firefox

I have noticed that some of our Firefox installaitons are not sitting in the Program Files folders but instead are in the users local AppData\Local directory.   Has anyone run into this and created a custom inventory rule to report back to KACE?

  • There are *no* Mozilla Firefox files in Program Files? Which version of Firefox? - mpace 11 years ago
  • None. Found them in the Users\{username}\AppData\Local folder. Version 22 - daveyknits 11 years ago
    • Odd. Well, the CIR to find firefox.exe in that location is:
      FileExists(%appdata%\Local\firefox.exe)

  • Tried that FileExists command in a custom inventory rule, but nothing reports out. Does the %appdata% syntax poll all user folders? - daveyknits 11 years ago
