Delete "Uploaded files" in the device inventory

Hi

Is there now a way to delete uploaded files in the Device Inventory individually or completely WITHOUT deleting the complete Inventory entry?

The last entry / post in the forum is from 2013.

Answer Summary:
there is not yet a way to do so. The files are (if not reuploaded) deleted after 2 days by default. You should go to kace.uservoice.com and create a feature request for that and let it upvote.
The top feature requests are usually implemented.
If you really need to get something like that deleted, a SR with Support (which can delete the files via a tether) is a good idea.

  • oh, btw: if a file is not reuploaded, it will be deleted automaticly after 2days (imho) - Nico_K 5 years ago
    • Yes, that was my knowledge too. However, that does not work. I tested it with 3 different appliances. 2 productive (1x with org and 1x normal) as well as in my TestLab. All appliances are running on version 10.0.290. - Gerhart 5 years ago

@Nico_K
Thank you for your quick reply.

From the answer I understand that there is still no reasonable solution.
I know that with the Uservoice, but had hoped that there is now an integrated solution for it.
A service request on Quest and a deletion via tether is not a practical option, i think.
At least not for us.

I have created a new Uservoice for it.

Thanks for the support.
