Dell ControlPoint as post installation task?
Hi all,
Any Dell users out there that are deploying a scripted install of Windows 7 x64 that are trying to install the Dell ControlPoint applications as post installation tasks? If so and you've had success, would you post some of your pointers on how you installed them?
Right now I am using the Dell update packages with the "/s" switch to install silently as a post installation package, but I am only getting the ControlPoint System Manager application to complete successfully. I'm particularly stuck on the Security Manager driver pack which is a prerequisite for the Security Manager application. It will install manually, but won't do so with the "/s" switch.
Thanks!

Aaron - Thanks! Your idea worked very well.
I was so hung up on trying to get the Dell Update Package format to work, that I did not think to try extracting the installer from the "standard" format Dell has as their default choice for download on the support & drivers site.
I took the files that were extracted, put them in a .ZIP, uploaded them to the KBOX 2000 and ran the post installation task with "setup.exe /s" and it completed successfully.
