Dell venue 11

Hi guys

first time using IT ninja have a bit of a small issue i was hoping someone out there could help me out with. recently got a dell venue 11 tablet i want to access the kace booting enviroment to reimage it. but when i try to PXE boot i get to the point where it shows me what image i can choose from but i have no mouse or keyboard control. i called DEll and they said to try this "   To modify the image on your server for Venue 11 Pro only which doesn’t require any interaction and starts installation as soon as you select NIC to boot from." could anyone give me a "how to" in Kace of how to do this as i am still very new to Kace

There is a BIOS upgrade due out very soon to resolve these issues, it's not just KACE, but any interaction that loads after the BIOS but before Windows.

You can image these with KACE.  The boot action is the easiest way, but you could also disable usb3 in the BIOS and the keyboard will work.
*Of course this is if you are referring to the Venue 11 Pro, as the Venue 11 is an android device ;)

you will need a UEFI boot stick. You can then use a 4 port active USB hub and connect the ports:

1 UEFI Kace boot stick

2 ethernet dongle

3 keyboard

4 mouse

I don't think there is a way to do that with KACE, they are probably assuming you're using WDS or MDT.  You can stage them in those imaging environments to automatically start imaging.  You'd have to basically do a custom WinPE .iso and upload it as a KBE.

Have you tried adding those drivers to your existing KBE?
