Disabling Rollback in Windows 7 OS

Hi All,

If we want to disable rollback in Windows XP OS, then we will set DisableRollback to 1 under the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer

Not sure if your quesiton got cut off? Do you have a question? Please edit your original question if something is in fact missing. If this is a tip, please post it in the blog area in the future. Thanks!

What I have understood from your post is,

Setting DisableRollback to 1 under the following registry key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer

disables the rollback option in Windows XP operating System.

Will it work on Windows 7?

Is this your question? If so, Yes.. It will work..

You can set Property:

PROMPTROLLBACKCOST=D

in your MSI to disable the rollback.
