Disk capacity report - Auto open ticket

I promise I searched and didnt see anything on this. Is there a way to have the result of a report automatically open a ticket?  So if report has data, open ticket and place report in summary?


Sorry in advance if I missed a thread on this.

yes, this works.
1. You setup the report as scheduled.
2. You let it inform you if it has results in it
3. You use the service desk email as target.

  • Doesn't the Service Desk module ignore emails from addresses associate with the appliance? If so, wouldn't that prevent a ticket from being generated? - JordanNolan 2 years ago

Or if you don't want to wait for the report schedule to run and want to know more quickly for specific machines you could also use a Notification to send the email and log the ticket
