Does KACE Cloud MDM w/ K1000 integration allow for management and check-in of Windows/Mac mobile devices?

So...does KACE Cloud MDM with K1000 integration allow for Windows/Mac/Chrome laptop/tablet devices to connect and check in?  No external K1000 server needs to be present on the outside of the firewall, does it?

I am confused.  Does this only keep tabs on iOS and Android devices?

Thanks.

KACE Cloud MDM allows management of iOS and Android devices and you can use K1000 to manage your Windows/MAC/Chrome laptop/tablet devices. Your internal K1000 server can integrate with KACE Cloud MDM solution and can work seamlessly.

  • Just to be clear, if my institution is enrolled in the Apple Device Enrollment Program and we purchase a MacBook, the device can automatically enroll with KACE Cloud MDM which will install the K1000 Agent. Is that correct? - chucksteel 6 years ago
    • I'm not sure if I understand the question about K1000 Agent install. However, KACE Cloud MDM doesn't manage MacBooks. It manages iOS or Android devices. Currently it doesn't integrate with DEP but that should come in a future release. - AbhayR 6 years ago
    • KACE Cloud MDM has released support for DEP for iOS devices. After DEP enrollment using KACE Cloud MDM, the K1000 will be able to manage the enrolled iOS devices within its native pane of glass. - wwolfram 6 years ago
      • It is a real shame that it only supports iOS. We will be looking into DEP and MDM for managing our macOS systems and a Quest/KACE product would have been great. - chucksteel 6 years ago
      • iOS devices are the first implementation. MacOS devices are being examined for a future release. - wwolfram 6 years ago
  • MacOS devices will be supported by KACE Cloud MDM in the near future. - wwolfram 5 years ago
