Does Remote Site Appliance have to run in a VM?

We would look at running our Remote Site Appliance computers native to the Kace OS. I believe it is Linux.
I other words, is Windows and a VM required or can we just build the PC as a Linux box and not have Windows and a VM running to be a Remote Site Appliance?
Thanks
Steve

you need a VM

  • That being said, it doesn't HAVE to be a Windows-based VM host. You could install vSphere Hypervisor, which is free. - BHC-Austin 8 years ago
