Driver Repository in Plain English
In the KBOX 2000 Driver Directory (\\kbox2000\Drivers) there are directories and sub directories, many of which are one letter. Has anyone found out what most of these meant? I know the type of drivers such as "c = chipset" etc. thanks to the Admin Guide, but for some of the manufactures I am at a loss.Below is what i have found so far, I looked inside the inf files and used common sense(nv, n = nvidia, or i, in = intel) and found the manufacturer; Unfortunately a lot of the inf files did not contain the manufacturer. This can also provide a comprehensive guide for lazy sysadmins etc.
Here is what i have so far.
