Drivers Injection in KBE images
Hi,
I've uploaded the wim image I was using with WDS into my K2K (No time actually to rebuild all image so let's continue with old Method aka Ghost :) )
The problem I'm facing is when I boot my "KBE Ghost", it fails on Windows Boot Manager can't find driver files : ahcix86s.sys.
When I extract Drivers list from my KBE I can see that this driver is not in the box.
I can't find a way to inject it. Can someone help me ?
Thx in advance

If you are missing drivers from a KBE, you should download the latest KBE driver packs and build a new KBE to include them. I'd urge you to try the driver pack first and if you are still missing a driver you can add it and then build a new kbe to include it.
Here is a kb on how to build a new KBE

here is a KBE best practices KB as well

Hello nheyne
It seems you have written a comment but I can't see it on the topic. Could you please reupload it ?

I did comment but decided that it probably did not apply to this specific scenario. - nheyne 10 years ago
