Getting deployment info during post install KBE tasks
Is it possible to get any of the following information during the KBE post install portion:
Is a scripted install being deployed, or an image?
Which scripted install/image?
Last modified date/time on the scripted install/deployment?
I hoping to use this information to populate a .reg file that would later be imported for use as a custom inventory item in the K1000.

Scripted installs and system images use postinstall tasks the same way; so no reason you can't use them here that I can see.
A BAT script postinstall task like the following would leave me a clue that this is the accounting department script/image; changing it to be what you needed to write of course.
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\COMPANY NAME" /v Accounting /t REG_SZ /d 1
K1000 KKE's: https://support.software.dell.com/k1000-systems-management-appliance/kb?k=KKE
