HelpDesk indicate required fields in ticket

If we define a field in Help Desk view of a ticket as required, is their any way to have the (required) or an asterix * display to indicate which fields are required on close?

No there isn't that functionality.There is a bug logged about this already. Feel free to contact support to add your vote to the bug.

Since you know which fields have this characteristic then, as a workaround, you could re-label the fields and put your own asterisk on them in the name portion.

Landho, I would encourage you to submit Feature Request tickets to KACE, as Gerald has suggested, whenever you want the KBOX to do something that it currently cannot. I have also wondered why there is not (required on close) next to this type of field. I'm going to submit a Feature Request ticket for this, as the more people that "vote" for a feature, the faster it gets implemented into the product.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
