History hardware

Hello guys, recently became necessary to have an inventory of hardware terminals. To exemplify need to know if users are changing the hardware of the network computers.

Could The K1000 also generate an alert for that?

 

How can I do this?

First...can you get the agent on the terminals? if no, then we can't do anything as the KBOX is agent based for Inventory and Hardware. 

 

If yes, the Asset history shows changes made to it and you could  create a report that goes out to you if it detects some hardware has changed. It would be something you would have to write as a custom report looking at the history and for key words, fields, values. Exclude certain things so you don't get false data.

Hello guys did well, I need to create my selects as needed. Where can I find the documentation of the database?

  • Not sure there is any documentation on the database per se, but you can browse it and run queries to find what you need using the MySQL Query Browser. Here's a post to get you started if you need any help:
