How can I get my KACE appliance to pull Cisco networking equipment serial numbers?

This is a two part answer and may require some additional feedback - so, please do not hesitate to ask for any clarification you need.

Part 1:

The SNMP OID that you will most likely use is:

1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1.11

Look here for other potential OIDs to use: http://www.oidview.com/mibs/0/ENTITY-MIB.html

Part 2:

In your K1000

Go to SNMP Inventory Configuration
Choose Action | New
That brings you to the SNMP Inventory Configuration Detail page
This is where you add the OID (use .1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1.11 )
Add the Category and Property information (where to map the information to appear in the Device Detail)

You have to map to an existing K1000 field.
