How do I clean up KACE's database of listed devices?

My organization recently ran a report out of KACE to determine which devices need to be updated or re-imaged. However, we noticed that the results have machines listed that may have been removed from the network some time ago, or have been renamed in the past already. Is there a way to clean this up (e.g. maybe manually removing devices, or removing devices that haven't reported in in some time)?

The easiest way is to archive using the MIA settings. In Inventory, on the choose action menu you will find the MIA settings. In the MIA settings you can configure inventory so that if a device does not check in for a defined period, i.e. 30 days, you can choose to delete or archive.

So if you need to still have an archived record, set it to archive and your missing devices will be archived.

If you don’t need to have the record, set it to delete and your missing devices will be deleted.

Be aware that every Inventory record has a corresponding Asset record, so you may also want to look at clearing up your assets from deleted or archived devices.

The easiest way to do that is to display Assets but only Device Asset types, you will then easily see on the list all the assets that do not have an inventory record attached as there will be no bracketed number next to the asset name.
