How does Kace Appliance keep track of number of prompts displayed on a client

In the Patch Deployment scheduling, I set up a Reboot Notification with number of prompts at 84 -- which means that Kace will prompt the machine 84 times where on the 84th time it will forcefully initiate a reboot.  Does anyone know how Kace keeps track of how many times the prompt has appeared on the client before it shows the last one that does not allow the user to say NO so that it would force the reboot?  I would like to be able to somehow get a count of the number of prompts has been displayed on a client machine.

  • I did some testing and checked konea.log and KAgent.log but didn't see any details beside re-prompt interval and entries that record "snooze" being clicked. - JasonEgg 7 years ago
  • It appears that the value 7001 is written to the "C:\ProgramData\Dell\KACE\user\EXIT_CODE_LIST" file every time a prompt is shown. - Desktop Jockey 7 years ago
