How should I set my Group Policy settings for Windows updates when using K1000 to deploy?

I am currently using WSUS 3.0 to deploy updates in my environment and am testing patch deployment using our K1000. I would like to know what is the recommended way to configure Group Policy for use with the K1000?

Karllen,

You can disable all user-facing Windows Update features.  All that needs to be active, for K1000 Patching to work, is the Windows Update service running in the background.  The K1000 Scripting | Configuration Policy has a wizard for disabling Windows Automatic Update settings, that works very nicely.  r2
