How to disable UAC

Can some one please tell me that is it possible to suppress the UAC prompt of unknown publisher.I have tried by applying the Run As Admin and Invoker and ForceAdminAccess and RunAs Highest.But i cant able to suppress the UAC.If there is any registry then please post here

If there is any registry key for PCA please post here.

Change HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\EnableLUA to a 0. Last time I checked it required a reboot.

I usually run as SYSTEM to bypass this.

  • I dont want the user machines to be rebooted......so is there any other shims or registry key without rebooting

  • I don't think there is a way around it. Vista forced you when you changed the slider, Win 7 lets you change the slider but the changes don't take into affect until a reboot is done. - nshah 12 years ago

To put it bluntly you'd need to add the software's publisher's digital signature certificate to the machine's Trusted Publisher certificates
