How to get missing DLL files?

I am working on application that needs to be sequenced using App-V 5.0 SP1. I modified the installation directory as per the standard, and gave same directory path for PVAD. I launched the application while sequencing and it is launching fine. But when i publish it using PowerShell, and test it on Test machine, i get the error saying a dll file is missing. Any suggestion guys.

which .dll file is missing, is it application based or your streaming is also failing.

  • Hi,
This is application based dll. It launches fine while sequencing process but when i test the application after publishing it on test machine, it fails. - shrestha.rajiv.k 11 years ago
  • My first check would be your test machine. This issue pops up when your sequencing machine includes some pre-requirement for your App-V which isn't present on your test machines. - EVEEN 11 years ago
  • The name of file is SSCE5332.dll. I downloaded it from a online site and places it inside the AppV Package ROOT with other associated .exe files. It then launched but suddenly gave me other error saying it can't find ?????.dll file. - shrestha.rajiv.k 11 years ago
