How to remove certain applications from an Office 2010 Professional Deployment
I am deploying Office 2010 Professional Plus (Office 365 E3 Plan) to my users with Dell KACE and wanted to see if there was a way for me to change the deployment installation file so that it does not pass down some of the Office applications that my users do not need. I am trying to remove Access, InfoPath, and Publisher so that it does not install these particular applications. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this with Dell KACE? Appreciate any input!

Create MSP using Office Customization Tool and keep it in "Updates" folder..

Thank you for your response, but the OCT will not work with the Office 365 Professional Plus package because it is not a volume licensed product. I have tried OCT, the deployment tool, Click-To-Run, Etc. I downloaded the administrative templates and copied the Admin folder to the Source folder and it errors out with a "Failed to get available product info".
I need to know if this can be done with the Office 365 MicrosoftOffice.exe file as I am unable to get this to work in any way. If anyone has done this or knows how to do this, your response is greatly appreciated! - kyatchak 11 years ago
