Computer Disk Error received when trying to deploy a WIM image

I have come across an issue while trying to deploy a wim image, has anyone else received the error and might know what the issue is? (Computer disk error)

This is the error message i get after the wim image has been pushed out to the computer: "Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware. Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information" I thought it may been an issue with the boot record? But, I made sure that the install  MBR task was there and the wim- win7 MBR (that apparently is used for all wim images?). This is a windows xp image by the way. Will appreciate any help or insight.

The referance computer you have used has same hardware configurations as target machine?

Is that target computer HAL compatible with reference computer?

Are you pushing it through SCCM?
