I have virtualized a application "ISaGRAF 6.1", after installation of the package when Iam launching the shortcut it is throughing the error that "License is invalid, reinstall application". Is there any way to solve that issue?
It is 4GB application. The package is added & published without any error but when Iam launching the shortcut then it is throughing error.
To virtualize I have used "APPV Sequencer: 5.1".

A few thoughts, as I have no idea what the application is...
Does it use a license server or Dongle? If so, is the hardware present and or the server reachable?
Does it use it's own service for licensing? If so, did you stop the service before completing the capture, this is a common requirement when virtualising such applications.
Does it "marry" to hardware if just using a serial number? This is very common and usually not possible to rectify unless you know exactly what hardware / parameters are used, and not all virtualisation solutions can cope with this.
Cheers

it uses Sentinel Driver this needs to be virtualized also. These mostly use dongles but I think it can also use a network server.
This company makes an emulator for that

I would not bother trying to virtualise the Dongle Driver... Headaches over headaches...
TRy to get the app working with the physical dongle (and drivers installed physically), and then try the network method..

Hello Phil,
Issue has been resolved, actually the above mentioned issue is not with my main application. There is an ACP-Prereq.exe which is present along with my application.
So I have separated that exe from my application and virtualised main .exe.
Created Response file(.ISS) for ACP-Prereq.exe & installed as dependency.

In this application there is no service.
Once I'll check with last Question. - Gouthami 8 years ago
