Install initial software in a new computer

Hello all.

Is it possible to deploy software when a computer is added into a specific AD group and read that AD group in a Label?

All I want is that when a new computer has OS ready and the DELL KACE agent has been installed, all the fundamental software (such as Microsoft Office, Antivirus Client, SAP GUI client, etc.) are deployed automatically to the computer by DELL KACE.

I already have Managed Installations ready and tested.

Although I could add the device to each managed installation job. Instead, I am thinking to add that label to each managed job.  And also, I don't want any of our support engineers mess around with managed installations.

Thanks for your help.

If this is only for new computers you could have a label that detects new computers added in the last XX hours or days and target your Managed Installs with that Label.

A few good ideas are in here:

You could also create a Label based off an LDAP filter.

We use LDAP labels for our departments. Every machine is placed in its department OU in Active Directory and we also created the corresponding LDAP labels in KACE. Once you have that setup you can target those labels with managed installs.
