Install Now button
When I'm logged in to the software portal and click the Install Now button for any package, there is a 30-60 second delay before any action starts. Any idea what might be going on with that? Logging in and browsing through the site is fast.

What happens when you click the "Install" button is that that button creates a process job on the K1000 that is sent to the agent via the AMP connection.What you are seeing is the time required to create the job, queue it up, send it to the recipient agent and then have the agent download the package.
In reality, there are no "instant" actions, since the K1000 does all the processing.

Probably because it is downloading the necessary files to your machine that it needs to use to start the install process.

OK, thanks. Do you know of any way to edit the text on the main Software Library page, the same way that we can edit the Welcome page? I'd like to give a heads up to users about the delay, and I hate to have to add the message to each bundle.

I use the Installation instructions and Additional notes for this. They don't appear on the list, but so when in the title to install.

No way to change the UI pages, but as suggested here- adding the estimated times in the install notes for the end user is the best plan. Even if we could change the UI easily, the users likely won't read it if it isn't right next to the install button :)
