Internet Connection / Licensing Issue

Hi all
have been playing with the K2000 Trial VM and have found that you cannot register the license through a proxy server that blocks https.

Also the K2000 Appliance Trial will check the licence key every 2 days off the internet so if you register the K2000 App with a 3g Modem and then put it on a network with a proxy it will go back to the Guided Trial setup.

So things to Note
· Internet Connection / Licensing issue – I have confirmed that once you apply your production license that you will not receive the License nag as this only happens with a Trial license. Things to note:
The only thing you will need the Internet Connection for includes:
· Internet Requirement
· Patch Updates
· Connection to AppDeploy
· Server Maintenance & Updates
Workaround
You could do ‘Offline Patching’
You could get the information manually from the AppDeploy site
You could manually download and install the updates
