Is there a way to import a root CA for LDAPS?

We have recently created a new PKI infrastructure. I am not sure whether I need to install the CA certificate to the Kace system or not. I have been able to get a new SSL cert on there for the web interface and that works fine. However, it will not perform LDAPS unless I use a Domain Controller that has a certificate from my old PKI infrastrucuter (running in tandom right now). The old root CA used a signature algorithm of sha1RSA and the new one uses RSASSA-PSS so I wonder if this device supports the new algorithm.
