Issue while deploying W11 with Kace 2000

Hi guys,

I am trying to deploy a fresh install of W11 ISO through K2000.

The computer's model I test is Latitude 5310, and I have well installed the Dell drivers package on the appliance for this particular model.

Everything goes well, the W11 ISO installs, then the computer reboots, installs the drivers successfully, then it reboots again.

After that, I get this step (This operation may take few minutes):

uFPWZFjlbf0AoAAAAAASUVORK5CYII=

Then, computer reboots again, and I am getting stucked on a black screen, with only my mouse pointer displayed, and the "windows wait cursor" loading forever.

Do you have any idea of how I can get rid of this ?

I know that W11 is installed, because, when I force the shutdown, I see the W11 login window.

But when I boot, I come directly to this black screen, and I never access to the Windows login window.

Thanks a lot!

  • Hi, have you tried a different version of Win11?
Also, I read over the internet that there was a chance that it might be something with Defender. Are you disabling it via the unattended.xml or any other way.? - RandomITdude24 4 months ago
  • Hi, thanks for your comment.
I will check the Defender part and keep you updated. I don't think I have configured this part in the xml. - MaximeF91 4 months ago

Bonjour!
I'm getting a similar screen.
My setup is HyperVisor -> W11 golden image.

After doing Kace sysprep on a VM in hypervisor running Windows 11, it sort of finishes but the VM disconnects at the very end (i'm assuming it finished)?... as a test i create a checkpoint, and restart the VM. to make sure the image is fine, i let the vm boot to see if the windows 11 will start as usual. it goes through the "getting things ready" screen, but then a black screen that says "just a moment" appears. i've let it there for a couple of hours but it doesn't
