K1000 8.0 and Windows XP
I'm working on getting my K1000 updated to version 8 but noticed in the release notes that they no longer support Windows XP. While I'm not surprised, I'm wondering if anybody has tried using the 8.0 agent on Windows XP yet and whether or not it actually works. I understand support is ended for it which means it could break at any time, but I'm trying to weigh the risks and get some feedback on whether anybody is still using KACE Agent 8.0 on a Windows XP systems.
Any feedback is appreciated.

it is unusupported, what means:
No one has tested it.
The agent is not that different (except a different location) so it should work, even it recognizes the different file locations.
More problematic is that your XP system is online which means that it is likely a spam and malware sending toaster already.
When I got rid off my last XP system a few years ago (where I "faked" it as POSready so I got additional patches) the attacks against this system grew really intensively (it was like in 2002, where you needed to patch a vanilla WinXP to the latest level before you even brought it to the internet.)
