k1000 deployment issue

I'm still pretty green with KACE and still trying to find the time to watch the entire webex we have but I have a quick question: Why, when I try to deploy software through Distribution, will KACE tell me "this machine is not online" when I have the specific machine I want to test on and logged in?

This can also happen if the OS version of that Client is not checked for the Software that you want to deploy.

Hi

If you go to Inventory › Devices, make sure they have a blue icon with dots, if they have a red line grayed out icon, the KACE is not able to communicate with those devices.

In this screenshot only the last two are agent managed devices, and they are Online.

Hello,

Do you have the correct agent installed on the devices you are trying to push software to (make sure your agent matches with your  Kace appliance)? I would remove the agent manually and then install it again making sure you are entering in your right K1000 server path first. To do this get to the agent install using your Kace path \network\k1000\client\agent_provisioning\"operating system"\ and run agent_msi_remove.bat then install ampagent.msi (don't forget to type your server name in). To ensure it's being provisioned manually run the agent_msi_provision.bat as well. You might also need to take a look at your provisioning schedule in Kace to make sure it's running okay. There is a useful wizard in Kace that will walk you through provisioning agents on your network. Let me know if you have any issues and I can try to assist further
