K1000 SCAP Import No Valid XCCDF Benchmarks

Trying to import a NIST downloaded benchmark file U_MS_Windows_10_STIG_V1R21_Manual-xccdf.xml file into SCAP and keep getting error message "No valid XCCDF benchmarks found in file". What am I missing here?  Is anyone using SCAP ?  OVAL scans work.  If not Kace for SCAP, what are you using for scans?

  • The ZIP in the link KevinG put here should work. It sounds like you were trying to import the XML file directly. You should just import the ZIP file and we will open it and get the checklists. - jamie_kace 4 years ago

This issue is because you might be trying to upload the XML file, and the appliance is requesting the zip instead.

Also make sure the benchmark is retrieved from this repository. https://ncp.nist.gov/repository

If you are following the instructions in the user guide, if you are on the latest version of the SMA and if you are confident that your SCAP data is valid, log a call with support, as that is not expected behaviour
