K1000: using SNMP inventory configurations

Hi,

I configure my Kace K1000 Appliance (version 6.3.113399) to discover HP printers on the different VLAN on my network by SNMP. I made several discovery schedules and add the discover printers to the inventory. Now I try to create a SNMP Inventory Configuration to link some SNMP informations to the device inventory of the printers.

I find OID for model, serial number and manufacturer but I would like to set chassis type to indicate "printer" in the device inventory. Now it shows "unknown". I don't find it in the SNMP Walk Results. Somebody knows if it's possible?

Second question, is it possible to automate adding printers to the inventory and apply them a SNMP Inventory Configuation? During my tests I do this manually.

Thank you for your help

Version 6.4 adds ability for printers to SNMP inventory.  I believe 6.3 would find printers but they would show up as computers in the Device listing and had very limited functionality to read OIDs.
