K2000 and Sysprep

Ok, since we are still using XP and developing testing for Win7, I have an issue....

I cannot sysprep a PC and use the K2000 to capture the image of a machine. The capture goes fine, but when we deploy it to a machine we get reg errors and it just doesnt work properly.

So I captured the image without using sysprep and everything is fine. I tried several model systems and the image deploys to all models fine without using sysprep. Problem is, I am no longer prompted for a PC name or a domain name since I did not use sysprep and it did not go through a mini-setup.

Is there any way to capture an image and then have it prompt for the domain and PC name? Its just a pain having to reboot a couple times to change these two areas.

thanks

Using Windows XP but dont want to create a scripted install for XP since that will take work and we wont be using to much longer.

So its Sysprep with XP? Windows XP Pro SP3 x86 English?

What are the command-line options you are using with sysprep?
sysprep.exe -mini -pnp -reseal -quiet -reboot

What does your sysprep.inf look like?
