K2000 - Fileshare Issue - Need NTLMv2
I work in a secure facility, with a bunch of security requirements that are enforced, before it's even communicated to us. The hot topic today is connecting to the K2000 shares while using NTLMv2...no other option possible, per our new security policy. Is there a way to have the K2000 use the NTLMv2 level of authentication, rather than it's LM default? Without it, I'm unable to upload new KBEs. I can still access the shares from a linux machine...just not directly from a Windows PC because of the security settings enforced through GPO.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks!
