We use a script that creates an environment variable that contains the PCtype for our computers this is a 600+ lines long vbs script that we run early during the deployment of our PCs. I have however seen recently that when replicating the script will be replicated if we updated it with a new model/model number but it will not always have the correct content in the file. As am sure you all know if you have a script where a few lines are missing you suddenly have a script that doenst work. Ive included a screendump of the file to show an example.

At first i thought i could work around this by zipping the file and running it from a batch instead but even zipped content in the vbs script will still be missing.

Anyone have any thoughts/ideas on how to resolve this?
