KACE and Wake-on-LAN..."Designate a KACE Agent as a Wake-on LAN Relay"?
I'm trying to set up a few physical systems for Wake-on-LAN via KACE and our appliance and the devices in question are on a different subnet (though both subnets are on-premise).
According to the KACE help tab, it states " To power on a device associated with a different subnet, you must designate a KACE Agent as a Wake-on LAN Relay."and I'm not exactly sure what this means. Does this mean I have to deploy an agent on a system within the subnet that's available 24/7, or what? The help file doesn't go into detail about this part.

more or less exactly that.
since WOL is not a routable feature, you need to have an agent in the target subnet. This does not need to be 247 online but online when needed.
As an example:
You have a remote subnet with a server which boots up at 3am automaticly (BIOS settings) and shuts down at 10pm while the office is manned between 6am and 6pm then the WOL can be triggered between 3am and 10pm
