How do I get my KACE box to show me what my office lic keys are?

It's located in the registry but it's encrypted, making finding it difficult without help.

use programs like below to find.

  • If I can make a suggestion. I did answer this link the last time, but I'm not sure that putting keys up on the kbox is a good idea. It seems like they would be too accessible.
    If you do choose to use that Powershell script I would suggest adding the following to the beginning.

    $comp= gc env:computername
    $file= "\\some\share\$comp-key.txt"

    This will create at txt file with "computer name-key" as the title. This way you can still have it, but it will be on a share somewhere instead of where it's easily accessible. - dugullett 12 years ago
