In the backup all stuff you have in your appliance is saved.
There are your managed installs, your service desk tickets etc which can consume much space, so there is no general advise.
You can check what you may (or may not) need anymore and remove it from your appliance.
Patches are not backed up, since the need of patches changes too often, so they are downloaded on demand.

Hey Nico thanks for your answer, very helpful, for this case doesn't use for patch and no patch is downloaded. but the backup file size is very large - Daniel Thenu 4 years ago
