KACE SMA Help Desk Email Notifications - list of available variables

We currently use a custom rule to send email notifications to queue owners when new tickets are submitted. We originally went this route because there was no way to do this natively using the "new ticket via email" and "new ticket via portal" email options. I see there is now a "Queue owners" checkbox available to notify for those events, which is great. I would like to move away from the custom rule and use these, however, I can only guess at variable names based on the pre-populated templates for these various events. For example:

$ticket_priority

$ticket_url

$ticket_submitter_name

$helpdesk_name

$ticket_id

etc.

Is there a list somewhere or could someone provide a way for me to see what all the available variables are for use in these notifications? Unfortunately, I do not have access to any of the backend databases, as our Kace SMA is a hosted service by a larger organization.

Thank you.

  • Thank you! This was exactly what I was looking for. I thought I had looked in the manual during a previous search for this, but I evidently hadn't, or somehow missed it. - rayken85 4 years ago
