KBOX Web Interface timeout

Is there a way to alter the time period before a user timeout when navigating the KBOX web interface?

Go to settings – general settings – click Edit Mode under User Portal Settings – Change the Session Timeout to whatever you want – Click Set Options under User Portal Settings. Should be good to go!

You can also adjust the time out settings used when linking the KBOXs.

Settings - > Control Panel - > Linking KBOX Appliances Settings

If the Helpdesk wants to keep the Service Desk screen open all day is there anyway to adjust the timeout of just the Adminui login?

Thanks.

rjobe No- this is a global setting; I have on occasion worked arount the UI timeout with some 3rd party programs to keep the UI alive. Mouse movers and such; obviously this might not be the best security solution though...

We use an 8 hour timeout for everyone so only once a day is a login required.
