Last Inventory for client not updating

I have a few users, that were working fine.. And now they are not updating.
Now, the AMP is connected, I can do a force inventory, and do not seem to get any errors.
BUT, the "last Inventory" date is in red, (meaning it hasnt updated in a while), and the inventory doesnt seem to update for the client.

I do not have a firewall on the client. and am using Agent version 5.1.31821, and the AMP is connected.

What can i look at , to see why the inventory for this client will not "update" on the Kbox server?

You can dig through the client logs, but I'd start by removing and reinstalling the agent to see if that resolves the problem. If not, I'd suggest submitting a support ticket.

Verify that all the settings in the SMMP.conf file are correct.

This seems .Net problem. what version of .Net installed on these computers? I suggest , remove all version and install .Net 1.1 comes with Kbox client. after installing .Net 1.1 you can upgrade it higher version. Further, check the possibility of Virus / Trojan.

I've noticed this mainly with Windows 7 machines. On WinXP machines, if the smmp.conf settings are correct, you can restart the Kbox service and do a forced inventory and it should update.
I'm generating logs using the KAgentDebugger for support on systems that will not respond.

I know this is old but figured I would post my solution in case anyone else comes across this. I am running 5.4 SP1. Nothing on this computer would update, so I went to %PROGRAM FILES%\Dell\KACE and ran KInventory.exe. It ran and produced errors but gave me the option to repair. I selected yes and now the machine is updating.
