Linux Imaging

I think we are missing something.

We just received our 2100 appliance and are trying to capture/deploy Windows 7 images using Linux boot environment, but do not seem to be able to follow the steps to do so in the Admin Guide.

The Capture instructions guide us to PXE boot the machine and choose the KNOPPIX imaging boot environment then click the KBOX Imaging icon then type "1", "2", or "3" to capture the image desired. (full disk, partition, etc.)

We never see the KBOX imaging icon. When PXE booting the machines to the KNOPPIX imaging/deployment/recovery environment, we only get a knoppix# prompt and typing 1, 2, or 3 does nothing but produce a cannot be found message.

We are obviously missing something, but what? I am thinking a download with the proper knoppix distro, but I cannot find anything.

Please point us in the right direction.

Thanks!

The Knoppix boot environment may not be working on your hardware.

We recommend using the KBE environment for all Windows imaging.
