Looking for a good packaging Training course - UK based
Folks,
I am a self taught packager (appdeploy / ITNinja is a godsend!!). I mainly use WISE package suite 7.0.
I have some new guys who have just joined the department and I need to get them officially trained up in WISE packaging (I'd rather they learned to package correctly rather than pick up ALL my bad habits).
Symantec appear to have pulled the training courses.
Does anyone know of a good UK based training course that will provide an intermediate level of training (ideally classroom based, but web based may be ok).

Are you sure you're going with WPS?
Isn't it better to go for Admin Studio, as Wise is discontinued?
We wish to stick with WISE for now, as any knowledge we have within the team is based around WPS.
This is currently our tool of choice, we will probably be forced down the Admin Studio route in the future, but for now, we really have to stick with what we know.
I am the main packager and all my knowledge is based around Wise, I need my new team members to have some formal WPS training, after which I can mentor them with my self taught knowledge.
If we went down the Admin Studio route (which I agree may be better in the long run, but it's not my shout), the team would then be using 2 x seperate tools adn I would have no way of checking off what they are doing in Adim Studio.
Not great I know, but my hands are tied.

I'm not sure you'll get an official course in WPS, as it's discontinued. However, you'll probably be able to get someone that held WPS courses before to help you out. They'll surely be interrested in the cash. :) - andemats 12 years ago
