Managed Install - verification
Could someone tell me what a Managed Install uses for verification that the package is installed? If I create a custom managed install, what is the qualifier that tells KBOX it is installed?
If I create a custom KBOX continues to attempt installing something that has already been successfully installed, as it is not detecting it's already there.
Thanks for any insights on this...

The kbox checks if the software item that the MI is associated with is now in inventory of that machine.
If it's a custom software item (ie it is not reported by the inventory process) then you would use a custom inventory rule.
