MSI script install when user not logged in

Hi,

I'm trying to roll out a scripted install of SPSS 19 ( I used the default MSI wizard). Everything works fine except when a user isn't logged into the box. I've looked at the log file which shows Skipping SPSS 19-K1000 MSI Policy because no user is logged into the system. Is there a way around this to force the install even if someone isn't logged in?

Cheers

Mike

In your script under "Scheduling" check the last box "Allow Run While Logged Off" to do what you want.

also from my experience most installations will need to run completely silent when installing when no user is logged on.

use the "/qn" parameter
