Newbie - Windows updates after scripted installation
FYI - I have not completed the Jump Start training for
the K1000 as a service or K2000 appliance running a VM.
Ran first successful scripted installation. After install, I ran windows
update and received Error Codes 80190193 and 80244018 at different times.
Tried troubleshoot tips from MS and other places to no luck. It then
occurred to me that the Kace systems might block somehow prevent windows update
from running since the k1000 should be updating the system. Could this be
the situation?

To clarify - this is a scripted install, not an image? And are you installing the K1000 agent as a post install task? Are there any other post install tasks you are running? Which version of Windows are you working with? I have a few lab machines that "download only" via windows update but get patched regularly via K1000. I do this just to make sure KACE does its job. I've not come across any issues with this set up. - getElementById 9 years ago
